A Benefit for the Hawai'i Health & Harm Reduction Center

What does Ryan White Fund?

The Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program is divided into several parts. Here in Hawaiʻi, the Department of Health, Harm Reduction Services Branch receives Part B funding for States and Territories. The Ryan White Part B Program funds core medical and support services for low-income people living with HIV. The services available vary by agency, so we encourage you to get in touch with your local Ryan White provider to see what services are available in your area.

Medical Case Management agencies  are the gateway to Ryan White services. These agencies  certify client eligibility for services and offer a wide range of services to them. Partner agencies provide support to those clients with their own set of services that are more specialized. Through both types of agencies, low-income people living with HIV have access to medical case managers, limited financial assistance, help with costs of medical care, access to treatments, housing options, referrals to other services, and more.

Policies and Other Resources

HHHRC is proud to be a founding member of the coalition to change the outdated discriminatory Section 23 added to Hawaiʻi's Constitution a generation ago. Remove the Hawaiʻi legislature’s authority to limit marriage to opposite-sex couples. Let's make sure Hawaiʻi remains an inclusive and welcoming place for all loving couples.
