Splash!
Hawaiʻi Health & Harm Reduction Center (HHHRC) had the opportunity to participate in the SPLASH event organized by Gay Island Guide. Events like these that combine fun for the whole family, entertainment, and community engagement can be incredibly impactful.
Wet ‘n Wild hosted the event and was the perfect venue to offer a fantastic atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. The combination of DJs, drag shows, and community partners offering healthcare services and information created a diverse and inclusive experience for all attendees.
Fundraisers like this are crucial for HHHRC as they provide much-needed support and resources to continue our impactful work. The fact that attendees had a great time and contributed to a worthy cause makes it even more meaningful.
It’s heartwarming to see how communities can create safe and enjoyable spaces while supporting vital healthcare initiatives. Events like SPLASH raise money and foster a sense of togetherness and celebration within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Có đoạn mình phải đọc lại lần hai để xem liệu khoảng nghỉ đó là cố ý hay chỉ là cách viết tự nhiên, và chính điều đó làm bài thú vị với mình. Trong lúc nghỉ tay, mình từng nghe nhắc tới ok9 từ một người quen, nhưng mình chưa dùng dịch vụ gì nên không có gì để so sánh. Bài ngắn nhưng có vài chi tiết gợi hình ảnh mạnh, khiến mình phải đọc lại lần hai để xem nhịp chữ và chỗ ngắt câu thay đổi gì. Mình thích cách bài để khoảng trống cho người đọc tự hình dung, thay vì nói hết. Lúc nhìn các dòng cuối, mình nhớ có lần ngồi chờ bạn ở quán cà phê, thấy ai đó mở o8 để chơi Game bài đổi thưởng cho vui trong lúc chờ, và mình quay lại trang này. Sau cùng, mình thấy bài giống một thử nghiệm về tiết tấu hơn là một lời giải thích rõ ràng, điều đó cũng ổn với mình.
