NALOXONE

The medication Naloxone has been proven to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and save lives. It is legal to carry and administer in the state of Hawai‘i. Naloxone can be provided by HHHRC staff to any individual upon request. Our naloxone program is free, confidential, and available to Hawai’i residents.

HHHRC has been working to strengthen the supply chain and increasing access by spearheading efforts to place naloxone vending machines in various locations throughout the state.

NALOXONE VENDING MACHINES

HawaiÊ»i Health & Harm Reduction Center (HHHRC) has partnered with the Department of Health’s Adult Mental Health Division and Alcohol & Drug Abuse Division and many community partners to provide naloxone vending machines across the state of HawaiÊ»i. This initiative addresses the overdose epidemic that has struck the nation. These vending machines provide life-saving medication to the community that can reverse opioid overdose free of charge. We are currently updating the below map as vending machines are distributed. Review the map below to find a location near you.

Please complete the form below to get a naloxone kit containing two doses of NARCAN® Nasal Spray mailed to you, free of charge. Only one request will be filled per individual, per address.

HHHRC is proud to be a founding member of the coalition to change the outdated discriminatory Section 23 added to HawaiÊ»i's Constitution a generation ago. Remove the HawaiÊ»i legislature’s authority to limit marriage to opposite-sex couples. Let's make sure HawaiÊ»i remains an inclusive and welcoming place for all loving couples.
