More than 60 community members joined H3RC and over 12 partner organizations and healthcare providers for our latest CHOW Party, a quarterly outreach event that connects people experiencing homelessness and those who use substances with essential health and support services in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
Throughout the day, participants accessed medical care, wound care, HIV and hepatitis testing, overdose prevention resources, food, clothing, hygiene supplies, housing resources, and connections to ongoing support services. By bringing these services together in one place, CHOW Party helps reduce barriers to care and strengthens the network of support available to our community.
A heartfelt mahalo to Harris United Methodist Church for generously hosting this quarter's CHOW Party, and to the many community organizations, healthcare providers, staff, and volunteers who made the event possible. Together, we are expanding access to care, building trust, and improving health outcomes for our most vulnerable neighbors.
