HHHRC in the News

HHHRC Executive Director was quoted in a recent Honolulu Civil Beat story on the emergence of “rainbow” fentanyl, debunking the notion that drug dealers are targeting children and underscoring the availability of nasal naloxone to prevent fatal opioid overdose.

Grants & Advancement Manager Nikos Leverenz appeared on KITV to talk about the availability of nasal naloxone to prevent fatal opioid overdose. Overdose prevention training and nasal naloxone (Narcan) is available through our website. Leverenz also supplied a statement to Punahou student journalist Ezra Levinson, who wrote an opinion-editorial titled “The Myth of Drug-Laced Halloween Candy.”
