Homelessness Awareness Conference

A number of HHHRC staff were delighted to attend Partners in Care’s Hawai‘i Statewide Homelessness Awareness & Housing Solutions Conference held at Ko’olau Ballrooms on November 18th. Highlights were the featuring of voices of lived experience from the O‘ahu Lived Experience Council and HHHRC’s own Kunane Dreier and Maddison Moliga presenting a session called “Living Under the Rainbow,” a brief snapshot of our LGB&T community and the intersection of homelessness. The conference also gave the community a chance to convey gratitude and aloha to the outgoing Governor’s Coordinator on Homelessness, Scott Morishige, and his staff for their many contributions and years of hard work.
